GlobalLogic is looking for a highly skilled Subject Matter Expert with 5+ years of experience in compute infrastructure and hands-on expertise with
GCP. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in virtualization, system administration, networking, and cloud security, with a proven ability
to troubleshoot and optimize cloud compute environments. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability
to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with GCP compute services and cloud infrastructure.
•  Solid understanding of cloud security practices and compute resource hardening.
• Hands-on experience with networking concepts and troubleshooting in cloud and on-premise environments.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, PowerShell) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical information effectively.
• Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, and performance analysis tools.
•  Familiarity with web technologies and web application troubleshooting.
• Must possess any graduation degree (Must have Provisional Certificate and Consolidated Marks Memo)
• Must be willing to work from office & in rotational shifts (5 Working Days & 2 Week Offs)
• Must be ready to join immediately

Job responsibilities

• Serve as the technical SME for compute infrastructure in GCP environments.
• Design, implement, and manage GCP compute services, including Compute Engine, IAM, Networking (VPC, Subnets, Firewalls, Load
  Balancing), Storage (Cloud Storage, Persistent Disk), and associated services.
• Ensure security best practices are implemented for cloud compute resources, including IAM, access control, vulnerability management,
  and data protection.
• Monitor and troubleshoot compute resources using appropriate monitoring and logging tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop automation and scripts using Bash, Python, or PowerShell for system administration, operational efficiency, and API integrations.
• Utilize automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, or Cloud Build.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues, with a strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, routing, and load balancing.
• Support web application environments by diagnosing and resolving issues related to HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, and SSL/TLS protocols.
• Provide expert guidance on system and cloud architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicating technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
