Description

We are developing an AI-enabled product in regulated healthcare that combines patient data, clinical knowledge, and machine learning to deliver safe, valuable, and compliant outcomes. The solution requires intuitive, trustworthy, and accessible interfaces for both patients and healthcare providers. The UX/UI Designer plays a central role in shaping these experiences by delivering low-fidelity designs, conversational flows, and prototypes that enable stakeholder alignment, usability validation, and smooth transition into development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Design, Human–Computer Interaction, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with at least 2+ years on healthcare, AI, or data-driven applications
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design, information architecture, and interaction design across web/mobile platforms
  • Proven ability to create low- and mid-fidelity prototypes (wireframes, clickable demos) to validate concepts with stakeholders and users
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
  • Familiarity with conversational UI design, chatbot flows, and data visualization principles
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG), usability testing methods, and responsive design practices
  • Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams (Product, Data, Clinical, Engineering, Regulatory) in Agile environments
  • Awareness of compliance, privacy, and sensitivity concerns when designing patient-facing healthcare applications
  • Excellent storytelling, communication, and presentation skills to engage both clinical and technical stakeholders
  • Preferred: experience designing for regulated healthcare or wellness applications, and/or knowledge of behavioral design techniques
  • English: fluent (B2+) spoken and written; all communication and documentation in English.
  • Comfortable with regular overlap with US time zones for meetings.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead UX/UI design efforts for the patient-facing conversational interface and HCP insight summary dashboard
  • Create low-fidelity prototypes, user flows, and wireframes to validate design concepts early in the process
  • Build optional clickable demos to showcase functionality, conversational flows, and HCP insights for stakeholder review
  • Collaborate with Product Owner and Senior Business Analyst to translate business and clinical requirements into intuitive user experiences
  • Work closely with the AI Architect and Data Engineer to align interface designs with technical feasibility, data flows, and compliance constraints
  • Ensure designs consider accessibility, inclusivity, and cultural sensitivity for diverse patient populations
  • Conduct quick user feedback sessions, design validation workshops, and incorporate findings into iterative refinements
  • Document design decisions, personas, journey maps, and interaction flows for traceability and regulatory alignment
  • Phase 1 (Discovery/Research): deliver wireframes, early interaction flows, and low-fidelity prototypes for patient-facing and HCP-facing use cases
  • Phase 2 (Build/Development): refine designs into detailed UI specs, support implementation teams, and validate clickable demos with stakeholders
  • Support later phases: usability testing, UAT, and preparation of design evidence for regulatory submissions
  • Champion design consistency, user empathy, and simplicity across the entire product experience
