Description
The client is the world’s leading developer of Automatic Identification and Data Collection (AIDC) software. It is a set of Windows desktop and server applications. Over 600,000 companies rely on this software for applications such as receiving, inventory management,
product identification, product control, and shipping. Products are sold through a global network of over 1,500 resellers and integrators in 120 countries.
The project started in 2006 and, and nowadays, we have a friendly team with a great history and traditions. The team consists of a PM, 6 developers, and 6 testers.
Development technologies are: C#, .NET, WPF, WCF, ASP.NET MVC, C/C++.
Testing is well documented and structured. We use all types of testing.
Here are the tools that we use: MS VS, MS TFS, InstallShield, JMeter, VMWare, VSphere, Virtual Box.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s (or upper) degree in Computer Science or related engineering or scientific program
- Knowledge and understanding of the software testing and development lifecycle
- Technical-oriented skills and approach
- Pre-intermediate English at least

Job responsibilities
- Manual testing of the desktop applications
- Estimation of the required testing time
- Creation and maintenance of QA documentation – test cases, specifications, bug reports
