Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- .Net, Microsoft SQL, Web Applications (ASP.Net), Windows Services
- Experience with PythonDatabase-driven systems; stored procedures, SSIS, etc.
- Other relational databases, such as MySQL, Oracle or PostgreSQL
- Centralised logging such as NewRelic or Data Dog
- Source Control and CI/CD systems, such as Git
- Jira and Confluence
- Technical documentation, such as coding styles, branching strategies and functional specifications
- Agile development practices and continuous improvement
- Strong spoken & written English language skills
Beneficial Skills & Experience:
- AWS hosting & managed service
- Javascript
- Non-relational databases such as Redis or MongoDB
- Cloud data platforms o Data Warehouses, such as Snowflake, Redshift o Data Lakes & Cloud ELT/ETL o Distributed Processing & Querying, such as Spark and Athena
- PDF extraction
- Containerised and serverless architectural patterns, K8S/EKS & lambdas
- Elasticsearch or Solr
- Infrastructure automation & DevOps, such as Terraform
Job Responsibilities
Our client is looking for .Net software developers to enhance, optimise and maintain a number of .Net/SQL-based applications in the Trademarks business, ranging from data ingestion & management through to customer-facing web applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a series of .Net applications and data ingestion processes
- Participate in requirements analysis
- Collaborate with internal teams using Scrum, to produce software design and architecture
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
- Test and deploy applications and systems
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code
- Improve existing software and optimise performance & stability
- Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
