Description

Requirements
8+ years experience working in mainframe as a mainframe system administrator or system programmer.
Understanding of Service Management best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Consultative skills with customers, and contractors when driving deliverables.
Multiple implementations and product installation experience.
B.S. or equivalent experience in computer science, MIS or a related field
Desirable Experience:
Experience in z/OS, JCL
Experience in Mainframe Source Code Management as administrator,
BMC ISPW software knowledge
Job Responsibilities
- Works closely with BMC with both BMC internal and Customer project staff
- Performs and coordinates the Install, Configuration, Migration and Implementation activities of BMC mainframe solutions.
- Contributes to Customer ready design documentation to support all Functional requirements, Technical Solution Design, Test Strategy and Deployment Plans
- Recognizes customer requests that fall outside scope of the SOW or any new opportunities and brings it to the attention of the Project Manager/Practice Lead for further review.
- Successfully moves Customer into production on the target BMC solution, transitioning the project to closure with both the customer and BMC teams.
