Description

GlobalLogic is looking for a detail-oriented and language-proficient GIS Mapping & English Language Specialist with strong communication skills and a background in Maps related tasks. The ideal candidate should have experience in POI, Base Map editing, Navigation and resolving user concerns. A strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, and syntax is essential, along with the ability to revise and rewrite content to ensure clarity and coherence.

Requirements

• Address user concerns related to Maps – POI, Basemap, Navigation, Roads within defined SLAs.
• Review and rewrite sentences to enhance fluency, natural flow, and clarity, maintaining language consistency.
• Edit and validate map content with precision, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
• Research thoroughly to ensure accurate interpretation, context alignment, and terminology usage.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and deliver outputs accordingly.
• Maintain consistency in communication and content quality across all tasks.

Job responsibilities

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in GIS mapping, especially in Maps related projects (POI, Navigation, Basemap, User Communication, Roads)
• Proficiency in English both written and spoken with excellent grammar, vocabulary, and syntax.
• High communication skills with experience handling user queries and feedback.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on linguistic accuracy and content quality.
• Ability to rewrite sentences for improved readability and coherence.
• Strong research skills to ensure accurate and contextual information.
• Effective time management skills and ability to meet strict project deadlines.Must possess any graduation degree (Must have Provisional Certificate & Consolidated Marks Memo)
• Must be willing to work from office & in 24/7 environment, demonstrating flexibility (5 Working Days & 2 Week Offs)
• Must be ready to join immediately
