Description
The client is an international product company with a common goal to redefine the legacy approach to Privileged Access Management by delivering multi-cloud-architected solutions to enable digital transformation at scale. Client company establishes a root of trust and then grants the least privileged access just-in-time based on verifying who is requesting access, the context of the request, and the risk of the access environment.
The client’s products centralize and orchestrate fragmented identities, improve audit and compliance visibility, and reduce risk, complexity, and costs for the modern, hybrid enterprise. Over half of the Fortune 100, the world’s largest financial institutions, intelligence agencies, and critical infrastructure companies, all trust this company to stop the leading cause of breaches – privileged credential abuse.
In a DevOps environment, even the most skilled developers can use some help designing cutting-edge, cloud-native systems. The client’s Cloud Engineering team is responsible for creating secure, scalable, cost-conscious systems to support our enterprise-scale global SaaS products; developing tools and services to streamline operations and the platform development experience, and providing subject matter expertise around cloud-native architecture and progressive delivery.
Requirements
Job Description:
- Deep understanding of software development methodologies and systems design. You should be well versed in constructing systems that are: modern, reliable, low-maintenance, enterprise-scale, and multi-tenant SaaS.
- Fluency in at least one high-level programming language (C#, Python, Go, etc.), and one scripting language (Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
- Deep understanding of protocols and technologies foundational to the web which span across all layers of the OSI Model.
- Expertise in designing and implementing software and infrastructure on top of cloud services. (we use Azure primarily).
- Experience developing solutions in a FedRAMP-compliant environment and considerable working experience with NIST Guidelines such as 800-53.
- Experience working with messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ or Azure ServiceBus.
- Experience working in a Linux environment.
- Experience with containerization, Kubernetes, Helm charts, and other cloud-native technologies.
- Infrastructure as Code expertise, Terraform, Pulumi, etc.
- Ownership of solution design lifecycle (analysis, architecture, development, hosting, etc.).
- Proven problem-solving skills and experience working collaboratively in a team environment.
- Highly responsible, self-motivated, and able to thrive in an energetic, fast-paced, high-growth environment. Exhibit ownership of projects and tasks assigned.
- Effective communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills are required to adapt to a constantly changing technical environment.
- Comfortable engaging product management, product development, and architecture teams proactively to improve products and services and solve daily challenges.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science or software engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Job Responsibilities
In the role of a Senior Cloud Architect – you will be expected to:
- Collaborate closely with other architects, engineers, and developers to design, develop, test, and debug cloud architecture and cloud-native solutions for a secure and scalable infrastructure platform hosting a myriad of services for a global SaaS organization.
- Work within a DevOps framework to assist with designing and deploying containers and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission.
- At a deep technical level, evaluate service alternatives between public cloud and self-hosted infrastructure.
- Ensure that systems can meet and exceed internal and external SLAs.
- Design business continuity solutions for a variety of PaaS/SaaS systems which includes automation and complex custom solutions to achieve 4 9’s availability.
- Participate in special projects as required.
- Contribute to and evangelize cloud-native architectural patterns and take an ownership stake in maintaining adherence to them.
- Work closely with software architecture and development teams to integrate cloud-native solutions and products, optimizing for cost, performance, and scalability.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and developments.
