Description
We are looking for an experienced Database Analyst for the client of our Fintech portfolio, i.e.: one of the fastly growing financial organizations providing asset management for institutions to help them select their investment strategies.
The Bank is currently in the middle of a multi-year transformational programme of work to move their telephony services from Cisco to AWS Connect. This programme has a key objective of migrating 63% of users on to AWS Connect by the end of 2023 and the remaining estate by the end of 2024.
To enable business areas to migrate the programme needs to be able to provide key business insights via Niche skilled specialist for AWS Data & MI work. GL team is engaged to provide expertise to support the creation of the required reports in AWS, enhancements to existing dashboards as well as creation of the new dashboards as new teams migrate over to Connect.
It is a great chance to become a part of a distributed, cross-functional team based in Poland. This Project is a part of the Multi-Year Program Plan.

Requirements
We’re looking for a Senior Database Analyst with a hand on a following technologies:
- Solid experience in AWS services such as Quicksight (is a “must”), Glue, Athena, AWS Connect, LEX.
- Hands on Python, Terraform, Lambda, S3.
- Expert in RDMS, Big Data database.
- Strong experience in designing data models, structuring tables, and developing SQL queries.
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills + Good level of English
Job Responsibilities
- Design Quicksight architecture.
- Develop AWS Connect flows.
- Being involved into AWS Quicksight configuration/Setup for DEV, TEST & PROD account.
- Being involved into Quicksight SSO implementation.
- Create different type of Quicksight dashboard/report for connect data.
- Being involved into data management for reporting.
- Being involved in dashboard/report deployment to cross account.
- Create interactive dashboards in Quicksight as per business requirement.
- Explore real-time/near real time reporting with Quicksight.
- Perform design & development of data strategy for reporting.
- Doing coordination between different business users to understand their data & reporting requirements.
- Doing code deployment using infrastructure as a code service (Terraform).
