Description

The project focuses on quality assurance for telecommunication modules. These modules are industrial-grade products that enable systems to communicate over cellular networks. This requires extensive testing across various network conditions and environments, including tests with simulators and protocol verification devices on both the cellular network side (2G–5G) and interface side (RS232, USB, SPI, I2C).

In addition to manual testing, a significant part of the work involves automated testing, which enables fast verification without human intervention. The design and development of automated tests is a key activity and involves substantial software development. When issues are identified, the department supports development teams by helping to identify potential root causes, collect logs, and analyze problems.

Requirements

Must have:

• Experience in software verification, preferably in embedded systems and telecommunication projects
• Experience in test automation using Python and/or C++
• Experience with software version control systems (e.g. ClearCase, Git, SVN, or similar)
• Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows and Linux) and computer networks
• Experience working with embedded systems, including basic hardware handling and repairs (e.g. soldering, hardware fixes)
• Good command of English, both spoken and written
• Strong sense of responsibility for task delivery and quality assurance
• Ability to meet commitments and show initiative

Nice to have:

• Experience in scripting using Java

Job responsibilities

• Working as part of a software verification team for embedded telecommunication systems (modems)
• Performing software testing activities, including requirements analysis, test case design, test execution, and defect reporting
• Developing and maintaining automated tests using Python and/or C++
• Configuring, maintaining, and managing test environments for automated and remote testing
