Description

GlobalLogic is looking for PEX Consultant to improve performance by optimizing processes, reducing waste, and driving sustainable operational excellence. They analyze end-to-end business processes, identify inefficiencies, and design data-driven solutions using Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Requirements

  • Key Responsibilities (Green Belt – Maps Operations)
  • Execute Lean Six Sigma Green Belt projects to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity within digital map data production and geo-operations.
  • Apply process improvement techniques to workflows involving spatial data collection, validation, enrichment, and integration.
  • Collaborate with engineering, QA, and geo-data teams to enhance map data accuracy, minimize rework, and streamline production processes.
  • Support process mapping, root cause analysis, and data-driven investigations to identify opportunities for reducing defects and improving throughput.
  • Use automation and analytics tools (Python preferred) to assist in optimizing end-to-end map data operations.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to map quality, coverage, freshness, and operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with Black Belts and process owners to implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies and sustain continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with global mapping teams to maintain consistency in process standards, data integrity, and quality benchmarks.
  • Document project progress, prepare presentations, and communicate improvement outcomes to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Job responsibilities

  • Qualifications (Green Belt – Maps Operations)
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt certification or training in progress is a plus).
  • 2–4 years of experience in Process Excellence, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence, preferably within map data or geospatial operations.
  • Demonstrated understanding of digital mapping, geo-data production, or spatial data processing workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, or analytics tools for process automation, data analysis, and performance tracking.
  • Solid knowledge of Lean principles, Kaizen, and the DMAIC framework for structured problem-solving.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Geomatics, Geography, or a related technical discipline (Master’s preferred).
