Requirements

    • 5-8 years
    • This position operates in a hybrid work model, combining both in-office and remote work to enhance productivity and collaboration.

Required Skills:

      • The candidate must possess a foundational understanding of Azure, Snowflake, and Azure Data Warehouse.
      • Familiarity with Python and SQL Server is essential for data manipulation and analysis.
      • Basic knowledge of ETL processes is important for data integration tasks.
      • Willingness to learn AWS technologies and their application in data engineering.

Preferred Skills:

      • Intermediate experience with Spark and Python for big data processing using PySpark is advantageous.
      • Knowledge of Pytest and Liquibase will be beneficial for testing and database version control.
      • Experience with Airflow and AWS Glue is preferred for workflow management.
      • Understanding of ADF Pipelines and ADF Testing will enhance the candidate’s capabilities.
      • Advanced knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure/AWS/GCP) is a plus.

Additional Skills:

    • Proficiency with Snowpark APIs and SnowSQL/SnowPipe is highly desirable for advanced data handling.

Job responsibilities

  • Implement data solutions using various big data technologies, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines to efficiently handle structured and unstructured data.
  • Build data aggregation pipelines that support analytics and reporting solutions.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, contributing to the refinement and planning of projects.
  • Collaborate with team members to clarify business requirements and establish acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct peer code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding proposed solutions and challenges.
  • Supervise the resolution of data issues, employing creative problem-solving techniques.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and recommend new tools to enhance the data ecosystem.
  • Document all work clearly to maintain transparency and facilitate knowledge sharing.
