Poland Health & Safety Department under supervision of country board and employee services. 

Requirements

  • Mandatory H&S Qualification: A university diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Engineering, a postgraduate diploma in H&S, or an equivalent qualification such as the Health & Safety Inspector Title.
  • Technical Proficiency: Practical experience with digital documentation workflows, including proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace (Google Drive).
  • Language Skills: Professional working proficiency in English (Upper-Intermediate / B2 level or higher). Polish fluency is assumed.
  • Mobility: A valid Category B driving license and the readiness for business travel.

Job responsibilities

As a Health & Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for proactively managing and improving workplace safety across all our locations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Auditing & Reporting: Spearhead comprehensive H&S audits for all Polish (~10-12 per year) and international (~1-5 per year) locations. You will be responsible for evaluating working conditions, identifying non-compliance, and creating detailed electronic reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Risk Management: Independently develop, implement, and review occupational risk assessments. Your goal will be to proactively identify potential hazards and establish effective control measures to mitigate risk.
  • Employee Training: Serve as the primary H&S trainer for new employees, delivering engaging initial training sessions in both Polish and English (2-5 times per month) to embed a strong safety culture from day one.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Make sure of H&S compliance. This includes managing all official documentation, monitoring adherence to safety rules, and collaborating closely with HR and Legal teams to investigate and resolve any irregularities.
  • Committee Facilitation: Take part in  H&S committee agenda by coordinating meetings, preparing insightful presentations, and ensuring all discussions and action items are formally documented.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with external training providers to organize essential courses like first aid and fire safety. You will also partner closely with site managers and other departments to implement safety improvements and follow up on corrective actions, fostering a collaborative approach to health and safety.
