Description

The engineer will be responsible for:
✅ Automating deployment using Terraform and system scripting.
✅ Designing secure networking and routing configurations.
✅ Configuring products for multi-tenant cloud environments.
✅ Developing automated validation and testing scripts for deployment.

Key Responsibilities
� Terraform Infrastructure Automation:
• Develop Terraform modules for VPC, subnets, routing, VPNs, and Virtual Private Endpoints (VPEs).
• Automate deployment of products in IBM Cloud.
• Integrate storage, networking, and security configurations into Terraform.

� Cloud Networking & Security:
• Design secure multi-tenant networking architecture.
• Implement Private Path Load Balancer (PPLB) & Virtual Private Endpoints (VPEs).
• Configure firewalls, security groups, and IAM access policies.

� System Scripting & Automation:
• Develop Bash/Python/Ansible scripts to configure the products
• Automate software installation, updates, and validation tests.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment.

� Testing & Validation:
• Automate validation of NFS, iSCSI, and SMB access.
• Perform integration testing for secure customer connections.
• Work with security teams to implement penetration testing results.

� Collaboration & Documentation:
• Work with IBM Cloud architects & storage engineers.
• Provide documentation for automated deployment & customer onboarding.
• Train internal DevOps teams on Terraform and automation workflows.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience
✅ 10+ years in DevOps automation for Managed Services or SaaS deployment.
✅ Deep expertise in Terraform (module creation, state management, IBM Cloud integration).
✅ Strong networking knowledge (VPCs, subnets, VPN, routing, load balancers).
✅ Experience with cloud security & IAM policies.
✅ System scripting: Bash, Python, or Ansible for deployment automation.
✅ Experience in multi-tenant cloud storage solutions.
✅ Familiarity with IBM Cloud is highly preferred (but expertise in AWS/Azure/GCP with ability to adapt to IBM Cloud is acceptable).
