Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to focus on the design, development, and deployment of machine learning systems at scale.

You will play a strategic role in shaping the project´s ML architecture, mentoring other team members, and collaborating cross-functionally with data scientists, software engineers, and product owner.

This is a hands-on position requiring deep technical expertise and a vision for how machine learning can drive business outcomes.

Requirements

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in a professional setting.

• Telecom industry experience is highly preferred.

Technical Skills:

• 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning, including production-level deployment.

• Strong knowledge of ML algorithms, statistical modeling, and data science best practices.

• Building & deploying model using python Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake, ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data lakehouse architecture.

• Expertise in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn,and SQL.

• Experience with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud ML platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Proficiency in building scalable pipelines using tools like Airflow, Kubeflow, or MLflow.

• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and version control.

• Desirable experience with real-time ML systems or streaming data (Kafka, Flink, etc.).

• Desirable knowledge of deep learning, NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning.

 

Job responsibilities

Architecture & Design

• Design and oversee scalable ML architectures and infrastructure.

• Develop end-to-end ML pipelines from data ingestion to production deployment.

• Select and implement appropriate ML algorithms and tools.

• Drive best practices for ML model lifecycle management, including versioning, retraining, and monitoring.

• Contribute to the ML roadmap and ensure alignment with business goals.

 
Model Development

• Build and optimize ML models using supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning techniques.

• Conduct rigorous model validation, A/B testing, and performance tuning.

 

Collaboration

• Partner with data scientists, data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to translate complex business problems into ML solutions.

• Collaborate across data science, tech, and product managers to define and build data ingestion systems and model training pipelines.

• Optimize models for scalability and high performance.

• Work closely with DevOps teams to deploy and monitor models in production environments.

  
MLOps

• Champion the adoption of MLOps practices: CI/CD for ML, reproducibility, scalability, and observability.

• Automate workflows and model serving using tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, etc.
