Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience as an interaction designer, UX/UI designer, experience designer, or a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Interaction Design, or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrable professional experience in core user interface and user experience design principles and practices, with a design portfolio showcasing work examples of web-based, mobile, and desktop application interface design.
  • Proven experience crafting workflow diagrams, low fidelity wireframes, highly detailed wireframes, and interactive prototypes for complex user flows for enterprise desktop, web, and mobile applications.
  • Experience conducting user interviews, usability tests, heuristic evaluations, and competitive research and analysis to inform designs.
  • Expertise in Figma and other prototyping and design software solutions.
  • Ability to take direction well, ask for feedback early and often, and collaborate with the design team and scrum teams to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams employing Agile methodologies, including rapid design iteration, prototyping, writing user stories, and using Agile project management tools such as Jira.
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Health care and enterprise software experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Availability for hybrid work scheme in Guadalajara.

Job responsibilities

  • Improve user experience for GlobalLogic’s enterprise software products on various platforms.
  • Understand key end users and their environments. Advocate for their goals and needs using data and insightful approaches, balancing business and technical needs.
  • Plan and complete user research activities, incorporating insights from user feedback to inform designs and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure that all UX and UI design deliverables effectively meet GlobalLogic’s business requirements, incorporating efficient usability and technical feasibility.
  • Build design artifacts of sufficient fidelity, including workflows, wireframes, and UI design specifications, to effectively gather collaborator and user feedback, validate proposed solutions, and assist Engineering and QE in technical development.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering counterparts throughout the product lifecycle, building strong working relationships to ensure design and user-centric considerations are prioritized.
  • Share design work with collaborators, customers, and partners, clearly explaining the thought process and reasoning behind the final output.
  • Drive projects to completion with minimal supervision, meeting deadlines and delivering on requirements while supporting development and mitigating risks.
  • Keep up to date with new and evolving UX and UI design standards, continually seeking to improve your skills and knowledge.
