Requirements

● 5+ years experience and a solid understanding of Python, with proven ability to write and maintain complex codebases.
● Hands-on experience with Python web frameworks, preferably FastAPI and/or similar frameworks (Django, Flask)
● Deep experience with structuring and querying relational databases, preferably
PostgreSQL and/or similar SQL based RDBMS
● Experience with CI/CD tooling (CircleCI, GitlabCI)
● Good understanding of testing concepts and frameworks (i.e. pytest)
● Algorithmic mindset and a good grasp of architectural decision making
● Good command of written and spoken English
● Hands on approach to solving technical challenges and takes initiative to improve existing implementation when possible.
● Self service mindset to provide great internal tooling and support

Job responsibilities

● Work on our transactional system (double entry bookkeeping) and collaborate with Finance and BI to improve our reporting and invoicing
● Own the design and implementation of the self service customer portal backend REST API
● Provide support for internal stakeholders such as Customer Success and Operations
● Work together with the Product Owner to define and scope out features
● Integrate with various 3rd party REST APIs for HR such as AFAS, NMBRS, Personio etc
