Description

Due to intensive growth, GlobalLogic Automotive department is seeking for a skilled Simulink/Model base developer to an Automotive project. This role involves developing and maintaining software solutions using Simulink while managing the complete software lifecycle from planning to release. The position requires close collaboration with suppliers and customers, handling software issues, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and release processes including MRD and CRB procedures. The project aim is to optimize, and extend with new features Automotive Solution. Our clients are Tier 1s and OEMs from Europe and USA and development is targeted to Automotive Solution which will be deployed in newest European cars.

Requirements

• A degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field;

• Strong proficiency in Simulink, State flow, and Embedded Coder for application-level software development;

• Experience with software development lifecycle and release management processes;

• Knowledge of software safety standards and documentation requirements;

• Understanding of change management processes in software development;

• Experience with supplier and customer interface management. 

NICE-TO-HAVE:

• Experience developing custom Simulink libraries and S-Functions;
• Experience with refactoring Simulink models to improve execution time, memory usage, and multicore adaptability;
• Understanding of AUTOSAR architecture;
• Exposure to software version control and Agile workflows;
• Familiarity with requirement management tools.

Job responsibilities

As a Senior Simulink/Model base Developer you will be involved into: 

• Set up and continuously maintain software development plans;
• Develop code in Simulink environment;
• Interface with suppliers and customers regarding all software-related questions and requirements;
• Handle software issues through Software Issue Management systems;
• Carry out comprehensive software delivery reviews;
• Release software through Material Required Date (MRD) and Change Release Board (CRB) processes;
• Follow up on and coordinate test activities;
• Create and manage software part numbers;
• Manage change management processes for software changes including time, technical, and cost analysis;
• Develop and maintain Software SACA (Software Safety Case Analysis) and other applicable System Safety documentation.
