Our client, a leading telecom network equipment provider, is building a Global API Platform that exposes advanced 5G network capabilities such as Quality on Demand, speed, latency, and location through standardized and secure network APIs.

The platform is a cornerstone of the company’s enterprise strategy, enabling developers and enterprises to integrate network-level capabilities into their applications, accelerate digital transformation, and unlock new opportunities for telecom operators.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Solution / Software Architect to define and drive the architecture of the Global API Platform. You will work closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and high-performance systems that support next-generation 5G use cases.

Requirements

• Strong experience as a Software or Solution Architect
• Solid background in backend and API-driven architectures
• Experience designing and documenting RESTful APIs (OpenAPI)
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
• Experience working closely with development teams and stakeholders
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Nice to Have

• Experience with telecom, networking, or 5G-related platforms
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with API management, security, and authentication (OAuth, JWT, etc.)
• Hands-on development background in Python or similar backend technologies

Job responsibilities

• Define and own the overall system architecture for the Global API Platform
• Design scalable, secure, and highly available backend and API architectures
• Ensure alignment with 5G network capabilities and enterprise integration requirements
• Establish architectural standards, best practices, and design guidelines
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, and QA teams on technical design and implementation
• Support and mentor engineering teams on architectural decisions
• Participate in technical reviews and key design discussions
• Ensure non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, security, and reliability are met
