Description
The Architect II is a highly technical role responsible for executing the end-to-end Solution Validation process for Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) seeking to launch on the Google Cloud Marketplace. This role bridges the gap between deep technical vetting and modern automation, reviewing complex multi-tenant cloud architectures while helping to build and train the AI agents designed to automate the onboarding pipeline.
Experience: 7–10 years of experience in cloud architecture, solution engineering, SaaS platforms, marketplace ecosystems, or technical consulting environments.
Requirements
- Strong background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture (Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect preferred).
- Experience with enterprise software deployment models, Kubernetes, SaaS infrastructure, and cloud billing integrations/APIs.
- Proven ability to interpret complex technical architecture diagrams and validate multi-tenant cloud security metrics.
- Exposure to AI/ML or prompt engineering workflows to support the rollout of agentic automation pipelines is a strong plus.
Job responsibilities
- Solution Validation & Architecture Review: Conduct in-depth technical analysis of ISV architecture diagrams to ensure infrastructure meets strict tenancy thresholds (e.g., verifying shared infrastructure is <50%) and consumption metrics validation (>1%).
- Technical Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to global software providers, identifying technical gaps and offering actionable architecture optimization feedback using industry best practices.
- Automation Engineering Contribution: Provide subject matter expertise to design, implement, and refine the ISV Solution Validation Agentic Automation system, specifically training AI agents to scan architectural diagrams for compliance.
- Queue & Ticket Management: Manage and resolve high case volumes across multiple ticketing systems (such as Salesforce/Vector, Orbitera) while ensuring strict speed and responsiveness KPIs are met.
