GlobalLogic is looking for the Process Excellence (PEX) Consultant will drive continuous improvement initiatives across business functions by applying Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven methodologies. The role focuses on improving operational efficiency, quality, customer experience, and cost optimization.
Requirements
Design and implement a governance framework for process ownership, establishing clear SOPs and
continuous improvement
• Change planning and management for deployment of re-designed processes
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions that enhance efficiency and
effectiveness.
• Create and maintain a continuous improvement roadmap for process enhancements and new process
development.
• Analyze current processes and workflows to identify areas where automation can streamline operations,
improve accuracy, and enhance efficiency.
• Leverage business optimization and innovation tools and applications, to analyze, redesign, and re-
engineer business processes for improved efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
• Lead the creation and implementation of comprehensive SOPs and manage a centralized knowledge base
to improve process efficiency and team knowledge
• Studying the process life cycle to understand the existing functional overlaps, duplication of work (NVA)
and gaps
• Working closely with functional leads/managers of various business units to deep dive into the day to day
operational work across various magazine clusters/business units to provide a centralized approach
• Identify and provide preliminary costs and timelines of potential options as well as the time commitment
required by both business unit leads and management
• Business process assessment and Re-engineering: Operationalizing different stages of project execution
including Kick-off, Stakeholder consultation, Business Unit/Functional Blueprinting, Realization,
Documentation and Project closure
• Responsible for streamlining existing processes using Lean methodology by understanding the current
function, suggesting process efficiencies and working with leads to come up with effective solutions
• Drive Six Sigma and Lean initiatives to identify and fix process gaps, automation execution across
workflows and also drive internal PEx related initiatives for the company
• Preparing PEx dashboards/newsletter, Process documents, Process Excellence health card and Quality
Training materials for various processes in the team
• Providing advice in defining new requirements and opportunities as a result of streamlined process and
identified gaps including Organization Charts, Consolidation of functions within and across business units
• Advice on how company can work on automating documentation and review SOP’s to identify waste and
come with new process lifecycle
• Develop controls to avoid any financial impact or any errors, ensuring calibration of processes for audits
• Complete ownership of process compliance to quality standards (ISO, SOX etc.)
• Design Sampling Strategy and regular process quality check audits with Operations team
• Complete ownership of customer comebacks for teams and identify opportunities to track errors for each
process related activity
• Drive best practice/idea sharing, and train team on various quality methodology
• Financial Impact: Identify savings to the company through various projects / Standardization of process
• AdHoc assignments – Capable of taking PEx initiatives across company locations and willing to travel for
execution
Job responsibilities
• Self-starter capable to taking self-initiative and working with minimal direction and support
• 8+ years of experience with a minimum of 3+ years in process excellence & Black Belt Certified
• Must possess any graduation degree (Must have Provisional Certificate and Consolidated Marks Memo)
• Must be willing to work from office & in rotational shifts (5 Working Days & 2 Week Offs)
• Must be ready to join immediately.
