Requirements
DevOps/Platform Lead – Cloud Manager (CM) / Cloud Orchestration
Location: Flexible / Hybrid (as applicable)
Experience: 06–10 years overall IT experience, with minimum 3 years in DevOps & Cloud Architecture
Key Responsibilities:
Deep expertise in Kubernetes architecture and container orchestration.
Strong experience with Helm, Kubernetes manifests
Proven experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins etc)
Led cluster security hardening, secrets management, image scanning, and compliance controls
Established best practices for container security, including image scanning and vulnerability management
Strong experience with Ansible Playbooks
Automated Kubernetes resource provisioning using Ansible k8s and k8s_info modules
Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash)
Tooling and Platform Strategy:Select and implement appropriate tools and technologies for monitoring, logging, configuration management, and orchestration.
Security and Compliance: Integrate security best practices and compliance controls into the DevOps pipeline and infrastructure design.
Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams, providing technical guidance and leadership to facilitate DevOps transformation.
Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve DevOps practices and processes to enhance productivity, reliability, and the overall software development lifecycle.
Troubleshooting and Monitoring:Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions to identify and resolve issues in technical operations and ensure system stability.
Infrastructure Design: Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure solutions using cloud-native technologies.
Automation:Lead efforts to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes to improve efficiency and speed.
Key Essential Skills:
Cloud Proficiency: Expertise in platforms like AWS or Azure Cloud Platform.
Containerization: Knowledge of Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
Automation Skills: Proficiency with tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or other scripting languages.
CI/CD Tools: Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar tools.
Experience leading platform or DevOps teams.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
Ability to drive process optimization and operational maturity
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Scripting: Python for automation and platform engineering and Experience integrating Bash scripts with CI/CD pipelines
Technical Leadership: Ability to guide teams and foster a collaborative DevOps culture.
Kubernetes, cloud certification is a plus
