GlobalLogic is seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to fill the role of Head of AI SDLC Center of Excellence. This is a Global/Remote-First opportunity at Associate Vice President/ Vice President level.
Requirements
- Engineering Pedigree: 15+ years in software engineering, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles overseeing large-scale (1,000+ person) organizations.
- AI Fluency: Deep understanding of the LLM landscape, RAG architectures, and the emerging field of AI Agents (AutoGPT, LangChain, etc.).
The “Services” Mindset: Experience in a global professional services or consulting firm is highly preferred. You understand the nuances of billable efficiency and client-facing delivery. - Architectural Vision: Ability to distinguish between “hype” and sustainable engineering practices. You know when to use an agent and when a simple script (or a human) is better.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical shifts into a compelling value proposition for C-suite clients.
- Collaboration: Ability to collaborate across timezones, cultures and teams. Work internally across our delivery organizations and CTO organizations to accelerate value delivery and adoption.
Job responsibilities
- Strategy & Governance
Define the AI-Augmented SDLC: Establish the gold standard for how AI—from LLM-assisted coding to autonomous agents—is integrated into every phase of the lifecycle (Discovery, Design, Dev, Test, Deploy).
Policy & Ethics: Define guardrails for AI usage, including IP protection, security vulnerability scanning for AI-generated code, and bias mitigation. - Tooling & Platform Engineering
The AI Workbench: Oversee the selection and rollout of tools (e.g., GlobalLogic’s VelocityAI SDLC, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, internal LLM gateways, and automated PR review agents).
Agentic Workflows: Design and implement “Agentic” practices where autonomous AI agents handle routine tasks like documentation, unit test generation, and legacy code refactoring. - Global Enablement & Coaching
Change Management: Lead the cultural shift across global delivery centers, moving teams away from manual toil toward high-leverage engineering.
Client Advisory: Partner with client-side stakeholders to co-create AI roadmaps, reassuring them of the quality and security of AI-accelerated delivery. - Metrics & ROI
Establish KPIs to measure the impact of AI on engineering velocity, code quality, and developer experience (DevEx).
Report directly to executive leadership on the ROI of CoE initiatives.
GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed in the USA is $180,000-240,000 and reflects base salary only. This pay range is provided as a good faith estimate and the amount offered may be higher or lower.
