Requirements

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Lead/Senior Business Analyst to join the team for the next phase of the project. This role will be instrumental in defining and creating Value Steam Mapping, ensuring a clear understanding of business needs.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects.
  • Strong experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and management.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Familiarity with Lean.
  • Experience with UI/UX considerations and working with design teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to infer user intent and objectives from ambiguous requests.

Desired Skills (Plus Points):

  • Experience with facilitating process mapping sessions, and quantify process metrics to distinguish between value-add time and waste.
  • Experience with Value Stream Mapping.

Job responsibilities

  1. Identify and Engage All Process Stakeholders involved in the value stream, from the initial trigger to the final delivery
  2. Facilitate “As-Is” Process Mapping Workshops. Lead workshops to elicit the current state of the process. Structure the data and create the initial VSM
  3. Collect and document Quantify Process Metrics and Information Flow
  4. Differentiate, clasify and document Value-Add vs. Non-Value-Add Activities
  5. Create the Formal “As-Is” Value Stream Map
  6. Conduct Bottleneck and Waste Analysis, document the result
  7. Lead brainstorming sessions to design an improved “to-be” value stream
  8. Perform Root Cause Analysis on Key Issues
  9. Translate the “to-be” ideas into clear, actionable improvement
  10. Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to clarify requirements, resolve ambiguities, and ensure alignment.
  11. Effectively communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  12. Participate in solution design discussions, providing business context and validating proposed approaches
  13. Proactively identify and escalate potential risks, issues, and dependencies related to requirements.
