Requirements

Job Description
Strong expertise with Google Cloud Platform services, including App Engine and Cloud Build (Cloud Functions, IAM, API Gateway, LB, etc).
Extensive experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
Experience with the Linux operating system.
Proven experience with GitLab CI/CD pipeline development.
Proficiency with Docker containers and microservices architecture.
Experience with static code analysis and static/dynamic security testing tools.
Strong understanding of zero-downtime deployment methodologies and multiple environment deployments.
Experience in implementing metrics and logging solutions in GCP.
Advanced English (written and verbal) for daily communication with the customer.

Would be a Plus
Experience with artifact repositories and promotion strategies.
Knowledge of importing existing resources into Terraform.
GCP or Terraform certifications.

Job responsibilities

Job Responsibilities
Work with GCP resources via Terraform, including importing existing resources and managing multiple environments.
Design and implement extensive CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for deploying applications to GCP, including static code analysis and security testing.
Oversee the building, versioning, management, and promotion of artifacts within the CI/CD pipeline.
Develop and implement zero-downtime deployment strategies across multiple environments.
Create and integrate comprehensive metrics and logging solutions within GCP, aligned with IaC practices.
Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless deployment of microservices and optimize deployment processes.
Ensure adherence to best practices in DevOps, infrastructure management, and security throughout the project lifecycle.
