The products we will work on are smart-home devices, so your responsibility will contain an intermediate layer between the OS and the application framework. If you already have some experience in this area – great! If not, don’t worry – we will provide you access to unique technology, experts, and know-how, just give us a good basis!

Requirements
- 5+ years of proven track record of commercial embedded C++ (preferably 17 or higher) programming,
- experience in embedded devices development based on Linux
- experience in multi-threaded programming
- understanding of system design, data structures and algorithms
- good analytical skills
- good communication in English (both written and spoken)
Job responsibilities
Our Client implements his own Linux-based OS, which is going to run on millions of devices in the field. Think of it as an alternative to Android, with an entirely independent environment & toolchain, with an improved experience for app developers and better stability.
In this job you are going to work on an intermediate layer between the OS and the application framework, which binds the platform (OS) interfaces and functionalities with top-level SDKs available for application developers, manages the lifecycle of the apps, etc. In other words, it’s a platform-independent framework layer (conceptually somewhat similar to the Android Framework layer in the Android world).
The programming stack involved is C++ 17. You will be working on Linux.
