Due to intensive growth, GlobalLogic Automotive is expanding its team and inviting a Software Test Engineer to join an advanced automotive project. The goal of the project is to optimize and extend an Automotive Solution with new features for leading Tier 1 suppliers and OEM clients across Europe and the USA. The developed solution will be deployed in the newest generation of European vehicles.

This project focuses on technical excellence and innovation. We place strong emphasis on solving complex engineering challenges, fostering team motivation. As part of the team, you will contribute to building a “computer-in-the-car” architecture that enables cutting-edge capabilities in advanced connectivity, machine learning, and autonomous driving.

必要条件

• Experience in automotive software testing, particularly in embedded vehicle systems
• Hands-on experience with test benches such as HIL, Box Cars, Lab Cars, or similar environments
• Strong understanding of diagnostics, communication protocols, and software download processes
• Experience with test automation and scripting (e.g., Python, CAPL, and/or C#)
• Familiarity with tools such as Simulink, dSPACE, and MxVDev
• Ability to analyze logs and interpret data from testing environments
• Experience in fault tracing and issue reproduction on test benches
• Understanding of MIL and HIL testing methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to distinguish product defects from environment issues
• Driving license is a plus (for vehicle testing)
• Availability for an initial ~3-week knowledge transfer trip to China (with possible extension or repetition)

• Execute acceptance and regression test suites
• Update and maintain test cases based on changing requirements
• Deliver test reports for each release
• Create and maintain test cases using tools such as MxVDev, Simulink, and dSPACE
• Perform fault tracing and issue reproduction on HIL or test benches
• Support application teams in analyzing reported issues
• Conduct vehicle testing when required
• Debug software using Simulink in MIL and HIL environments
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to increase test coverage and efficiency
• Analyze logs from automation and test environments
• Maintain test setups and support Box Car operations
• Prepare test objects by configuring proper hardware and software baselines
• Perform hardware upgrades and technical maintenance in cooperation with engineering teams
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test environments and rigs
• Execute functional, exploratory, and regression tests (including diagnostics and communication)
• Analyze test results and prepare summary reports with clear reproduction steps
• Create and manage defect reports and bug tickets
• Conduct test automation feasibility studies
