Knowledge of the codecs domain — testing of video/audio codec components and the APIs that drive them:
MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 (h.263, h.264, h.265); MPEG-1 Layer II/III; JPEG; AAC
Uncompressed video signal layouts; CDCI (color subsampling), RGBA
Verifying codec output correctness and quality
Experience with unit testing.
Experience with Windows.
Experience with Git.
Understanding of CI/CD principles.
Nice to have:
Experience with Jira.
Familiarity with CMake.
Basic theoretical or practical knowledge of C++, Java, JavaScript, Go.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with Linux and/or macOS.
Experience with Conan.
Familiarity with J2K, DNx, ProRES; MainConcept codec solutions.
Key Skills:
