We are a cross-functional international team collaborating globally on a major insurance product with integrated e-billing functionality. We are seeking a Business Analyst to connect business and technical teams, capturing and refining requirements, supporting backlog prioritization, and helping ensure smooth delivery from concept to implementation.
5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in an Agile environment.
Strong experience in defining and prioritizing requirements for software products or systems.
Proficiency in writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs.
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and ability to work within Agile frameworks.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to translate complex business needs into technical requirements.
Experience with business process modeling, requirements gathering, and documenting workflows.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, designers, etc.) to deliver value-driven solutions.
Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management and documentation tools.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a customer-centric focus.
Leadership qualities in driving teams toward product goals, ensuring clear communication, and motivating cross-functional collaboration.
Act as the proxy for the Product Owner, representing their interests in day-to-day activities and ensuring product goals are met.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and define clear business requirements and transform them into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
Prioritize product backlog items based on business value, customer needs, and technical constraints in close alignment with the Product Owner.
Work with development teams to ensure understanding of user stories, addressing any questions and facilitating clarification where necessary.
Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and use cases to ensure the development of features that align with business objectives.
Lead and facilitate requirements workshops, sprint planning, and backlog grooming sessions.
Support release planning and roadmap creation, ensuring that features are delivered on time and within scope.
Monitor product performance and gather user feedback to iterate on features and improve product value.
Act as a liaison between the development team, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and timelines.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of Agile practices and processes within the team.
Track and report on product progress, issues, and risks to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that features meet business requirements before release.
