Sitting within CAPTG the Platform, Integration & Automation teams is responsible for providing integrations. We own the MuleSoft platforms, design and develop reusable enterprise assets, and drive best practices to support robust enterprise class solutions.

必要条件

• Strong hands-on experience with designing and implementing Mule 4 applications and integrations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Mule applications and integrations.
• Excellent understanding of web services (SOAP/REST), messaging systems (JMS/AMQP), data formats (XML/JSON/CSV) and enterprise service bus (ESB) concepts
• Excellent Dataweave / Transformation skills with FlatFiles/FFDs.
• Strong knowledge of API design principles and service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles
• Exposure to using testing tools like MUnit, Postman, JMeter, etc.
• Experience working with different database systems like MongoDB, MSSQL, MySQL
• Comfortable managing resources provided by public cloud providers like Azure or AWS.
• Solid understanding software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts like multiple environments, version control, CI/CD, etc.

• A strong natural focus on what matters; delivering value and designing to minimise risk. Ready to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in, both with project work as well as team and community activities.
• The ability to work across multiple projects in parallel and the ability to contribute to wider group strategies.
• Hands-on experience of working through the end-to-end project lifecycle with exposure to both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Self-motivated individual with great attention to detail who can investigate issues with little information and find a solution.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills when working with both business and technical teams.

職務内容

Objectives for Role
Design, Develop, Maintain Integration Solutions
• Work with stakeholders to review integration requirements and create prototypes for new solutions where appropriate. Assess existing data integration solutions to see whether improvements can be made, weighing up the cost of changing the existing solution against perceived benefits.
• Review project scope and create estimates of time required to complete projects.
• Design, develop, document, test, and deploy integration solutions.
• Ensure all projects conform to and champion best practice integration and SDLC patterns.
• Prepare releases following the current CAB process, support signoff requirements, perform releases as scheduled.
• Assist wider team with monitoring and supporting integrations from operational perspective. Troubleshoot any issues, provide fixes where possible, escalate to other teams where appropriate.

Platform Administration
• Support day to day management of MuleSoft platform, help investigate any issues and ensure general availability of the platform. Escalate issues to internal technology teams and vendors as appropriate.

Project Delivery
• Be responsible for leading the technical delivery of development projects assigned to you and managing priorities within these.
• Act as the point of contact for technical questions for projects you are leading.
• Work with the relevant technology teams to ensure all technical prerequisites for integration work are met, escalate your requirements as appropriate.

Best Practices
• Create and maintain documentation of software development processes, procedures, and best practices.
• Research and evaluate new Mule technologies and solution. Maintain current knowledge of emerging technologies that may impact the field. Contribute to the ongoing development of best practices.
