Storage Management & Performance Tuning: Optimizing disk space allocation (mdf, ldf, and tempdb files), maintaining indexes (defragmentation, rebuilding), analyzing execution plans, and optimizing T-SQL queries.SQL Server-Specific
Features: Leveraging advanced built-in technologies such as Columnstore Indexes for analytics and data compression, and In-Memory OLTP for high-throughput transaction processing.Data Security: Enforcing user access control via logins, database users, and roles, managing schemas, and securing sensitive data using Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) and Always Encrypted.
Maintenance & High Availability: Handling backup and restore strategies (Full, Differential, Transaction Log), ensuring data integrity (DBCC CHECKDB), performing patching, and implementing high availability/disaster recovery (HA/DR) via Always On Availability Groups, Failover Cluster Instances (FCI), or Log Shipping.
職務内容
Managing database storage (mdf/ldf/tempdb allocation), performance tuning (indexing, defragmentation, execution plans, T-SQL optimization), and SQL Server-specific features (Columnstore Indexes, In-Memory OLTP).
Ensuring data security, user access control via Logins, Users, and Roles at the schema level, and data encryption (Transparent Data Encryption – TDE, Always Encrypted).
Handling backup and recovery strategies (Full, Differential, Transaction Log), patching, database integrity checks (DBCC CHECKDB), and high availability/disaster recovery (Always On Availability Groups, Failover Cluster Instances).
