Our client operates within the semiconductor industry, focusing on the design, development, and manufacturing of advanced electronic components and embedded solutions. The organization delivers foundational technologies powering digital devices and intelligent systems across automotive, consumer electronics, industrial, and communication sectors.

As part of the embedded security engineering team, you will contribute to the development of secure and high-performance trusted firmware solutions for next-generation computing platforms. The role involves working close to hardware, building secure low-level software components, and driving innovation in embedded Rust development.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of professional experience in embedded systems development with a strong focus on secure firmware and low-level programming.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Rust and proven ability to develop secure and complex software solutions.
  • Solid understanding of Trusted Platform Module (TPM) concepts and secure embedded environments.
  • Practical experience in embedded firmware development, debugging, and optimization across different hardware platforms.
  • Experience working with low-level embedded architectures and hardware interfaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with RISC-V architecture and embedded system development.
  • Understanding of ARM architecture and ARM-based microcontrollers.
  • Basic knowledge of cryptographic principles and their implementation in secure software development.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality and secure embedded firmware components using Rust.
  • Implement cryptographic primitives and secure boot mechanisms within embedded architectures.
  • Design and maintain software modules for Trusted Platform Modules (TPM) and secure hardware environments.
  • Analyze and optimize embedded firmware for security, performance, and efficient resource utilization.
  • Enhance the functionality and reliability of trusted firmware solutions across embedded platforms.
  • Develop low-level drivers and hardware interfaces for ARM and RISC-V microcontrollers.
  • Maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, code documentation, and testing procedures.
  • Perform testing, debugging, validation, and troubleshooting of embedded firmware solutions.
  • Support firmware integration with new hardware designs and ensure compatibility across platforms.
  • Evaluate and introduce new tools and methodologies to improve embedded Rust development workflows.
  • Resolve complex issues related to embedded trusted firmware in production environments.
