Job Title: Operations Lead – Telecom Migration Project
Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Lead with 12+ years  to manage and drive end-to-end operations for large-scale telecom migration programs. The role requires strong coordination across multiple teams, proactive risk management, and governance to ensure seamless migration execution and delivery.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
Own and manage overall operational activities for telecom migration projects
Ensure smooth execution of migration plans across locations and domains
Drive operational excellence, process adherence, and continuous improvement
2. Migration & Conversion Coordination
Lead conversion planning, execution, and tracking across multiple workstreams
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless migration activities
Ensure alignment between business, technical, and operational stakeholders
3. BAN Discussions & Domain Coordination
Lead and facilitate BAN (Billing Account Number) discussions and validations
Coordinate with domain teams to resolve dependencies and data-related issues
Ensure data integrity and readiness for migration
4. Deceleration & Planning
Develop deceleration strategies to manage risks and delays
Proactively identify bottlenecks and implement mitigation plans
Ensure timelines are met without compromising quality
5. Stakeholder Management
Engage with internal and external stakeholders including business, IT, vendors, and leadership
Provide regular updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment on deliverables
Act as a single point of contact for operational escalations
6. Governance & Reporting
Drive governance frameworks across the program
Prepare and present status reports, dashboards, and KPIs to leadership
Conduct SOS / PM meetings and track action items to closure
7. Risk Management
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across migration lifecycle
Maintain risk registers and ensure timely escalation of critical issues
Implement contingency and rollback plans where required
8. Cross-Location Coordination
Manage operations across multiple geographies and teams
Ensure consistent communication, coordination, and execution standards
Handle offshore-onsite collaboration effectively
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience in Telecom domain with strong exposure to migration/transformation projects
Proven experience in operations management and large-scale program coordination
Strong understanding of telecom systems, billing (BAN), and migration processes
Expertise in stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination
Experience in governance, reporting, and risk management frameworks
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in multi-vendor and distributed team environments
Familiarity with Agile / Waterfall delivery models
PMP / Prince2 or similar certification is a plus
