Java Lead – Java + Microservices + AWS + Lead Experience

Tech Lead – Platform Architecture Services
Join our Platform Architecture Services team as TechLead in Bengaluru / Noida / Hyderabad and help build scalable, reliable, and innovative capabilities.
As a lead engineer of the team, you will design and develop backend platform services, collaborate across teams, and contribute to delivering high-quality features that support cloud-native architecture.
Essential Requirements
● Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and platforms with minimal guidance.
● 8-10+ years of professional software development experience, with strong expertise in Java and object-oriented design principles for building scalable and maintainable systems.
● Hands-on experience developing backend services using Java and Spring/Spring Boot frameworks.
● Strong experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs, with API documentation standards (OpenAPI/Swagger)
● Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases, along with ORM frameworks such as JPA or Hibernate.
● Experience with event-driven architecture and at least one messaging broker such as Kafka, AWS SQS, SNS, Kinesis, or Azure Service Bus.
● Experience working with observability and monitoring tools such as New Relic, Prometheus or AWS CloudWatch.
● Experience working with AWS cloud services such as S3, ECS, EKS, and EC2, RDS, DyamonDB.
● Experience working in Agile development environments, using collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

Desirable Requirements
● Experience implementing security frameworks such as Spring Security, including authentication and authorization integration with identity providers like Okta, Google IDP, or Azure AD.
● Experience designing and building microservices-based architectures and contributing to system design discussions.
● Experience with designing highly scalable, high-throughput distributed backend systems.
● Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, using tools such as Terraform/Ansible, Cloudformation, Jenkins/ Harness.

Job responsibilities

● Contribute as a key member of an Agile engineering team, delivering features across the full software development lifecycle.
● Design, develop, test, and deploy platform services and product enhancements with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
● Investigate and resolve complex platform or customer-reported issues in collaboration with support and engineering teams.
● Work while collaborating closely with product management and cross-functional engineering teams.
● Mentor engineers through technical guidance, design discussions, and code reviews.
● Research, evaluate, and recommend technologies and architectural improvements to support new platform capabilities
