Requirements

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Lead C#/.NET Developer to join our team. This role requires not only strong technical expertise in building complex applications with C# and .NET, but also the ability and motivation to take on leadership responsibilities.

As a Lead Developer, you will act as a feature owner, driving the design, implementation, and delivery of key functionality. You will collaborate closely with product management, architects, and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality solutions are delivered on time.

We expect you to bring a proactive approach, take ownership of challenges, and inspire your teammates by setting high standards and fostering best practices.

 

COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong experience with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and related technologies.
• Proven track record in successfully refactoring and modernizing applications to newer .NET versions (e.g. NET 6.2 to 8).
  Deep experience in designing and executing unit & integration tests that validate interactions between components and services.
• Experience with EntityFramework, Telerik.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
• Strong experience with various storage systems like Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Data Lake, and Azure Data Explorer.
• Experience with SonarCloud, Git, Swashbuckle, Veracode, SonarCloud, WPF, NPM.
• Knowledge of tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.
• Experience developing scalable solutions and pipelines​.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of modern development patterns​.
• Analytical skills that aid in reaching product goals and quarterly outcomes​.
• Able to work independently and as part of a cohesive team​.
• Clarity in communication, both verbal and written.

EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software development with a strong emphasis on .NET technologies.

Job responsibilities

• Lead the development of new features and enhancements within the ecosystem.
• Serve as a feature owner, taking responsibility from design through implementation and release.
• Mentor and support team members, sharing best practices and encouraging growth.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability through reviews and adherence to best practices.
