This position is within the Algo department. Our client has been a pioneer in the audio industry for decades, renowned for blending classic analog principles with modern digital innovation. We specialize in meticulously emulating the detailed character of analog sound in the digital domain.

The LLM Applications Engineer will join a forward-thinking team dedicated to advancing our core technologies. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI to make significant contributions to our foundational capabilities and shape the future of audio production tools. You will combine practical expertise in LLM design and integration with a passion for and knowledge of music creation workflows to unlock new possibilities within our product ecosystem.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field such as Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of three years of hands-on experience integrating large language models into products.
• Demonstrated expertise in working with large language models.
• Advanced skills in Python and familiarity with LLM application frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Practical experience with techniques for enhancing LLM performance, such as model fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and optimizing NLP pipelines.
• The ability to evaluate and select LLMs based on cost-versus-performance trade-offs.
• Experience with smaller, more efficient large language models suitable for edge deployment.
• A solid understanding of music production workflows and associated terminology is a big plus.

Job responsibilities

• Research, assess, and apply Large Language Models (LLMs) within the company’s technology infrastructure and tools.
• Improve information retrieval systems across the company’s extensive knowledge base.
• Create innovative approaches for generating and summarizing content related to intricate audio topics.
• Construct intelligent systems to improve how the company understands and utilizes data and expertise.
• Enhance natural language understanding for complex applications that support technical operations.
• Develop and implement effective strategies for prompt engineering.
• Work closely with engineering and data science teams to deliver impactful technological solutions.
• Continuously monitor, iterate on, and ensure the ethical deployment and performance of LLMs.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements and tools in the field of large language models
