Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Data Engineer with 6+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, ETL processes, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake, with experience integrating data through REST APIs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build reliable, high-quality data solutions while ensuring performance, scalability, and operational excellence
Requirements
6+ years of software development experience.
Strong programming skills in Python.
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Snowflake.
Strong experience building ETL pipelines and working with REST APIs.
Experience with data transformation and data integration processes.
Hands-on experience with Git and Jira.
Experience with PySpark is an added advantage.
Exposure to AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude is a plus.
Job responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and data pipelines using Python.
Build and optimize ETL workflows for ingesting, transforming, and loading data from multiple sources.
Develop integrations using REST APIs to extract and process data efficiently.
Work extensively with PostgreSQL and Snowflake for data storage, querying, and optimization.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best engineering practices.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
