Description

The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) will support the development and delivery of high-quality Enterprise Access Management (EAM) releases. Responsibilities include designing and developing robust test automation, contributing to CI/CD pipelines, and partnering with developers and QE to improve the overall testability, reliability and performance of EAM features.

Requirements

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline.
• 2-4 years’ relevant SDET experience scripting in Python, and working with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman, or similar.
• Excellent communication and partnership skills to work with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers.
• Solid data-analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify issues and work on resolutions.
• Experience with automation dashboards, preferably Report Portal.
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint-based development.

Job responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Solid programming skills in at least one of these languages (Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, etc…) with Python being the most relevant.
• Extensive experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, TestNG, etc.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD process to support continuous testing and deployment.
• Build test coverage for key product areas with a focus on regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios.
• Work in partnership with their Agile team to define test automation priorities, test data, test environments and test execution.
• Investigate test failures, review test results and provide timely feedback to developers and stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned and required.

Desired:

• Experience with healthcare technologies.
• Prior experience working in a product with a hybrid client-server+Cloud architecture.
• Strong knowledge of cloud and virtualization technologies.
• Familiarity with GitHub, JIRA, and PractiTest is a plus.
• Knowledge of security concepts especially with multi-factor authentication.
