Description

You will be working with a leading embedded system manufacturer on the creation of new products and enhancements to the existing product line for use in the medical, industrial, military, and aerospace sectors. Together with the team of professionals, you will be creating cutting-edge system-on-a-module solutions from scratch up to the BSP support. Our client moves your innovations forward by creating award-winning SOMs and embedded electronics products, effectively accelerating time to market.  

Requirements

Must have:

• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the design of new products
• Experience with PCB design software like Altium Designer, Protel, Cadence Allegro or similar.
• Knowledge of PCB manufacturing process: materials, layer construction, manufacturing and assembly specifications and guidelines.
• Strong knowledge in digital and analog electronics.
• Good understanding of modern MCU, electronic components and communication interfaces.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, analyze and resolve design-related issues, provide support to PCB engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Relevant to Electrical Engineering (EE) education: Degree in Electronic, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Design and/or Technology.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Spice and other simulation tools
• Experience with 3D modelling tools like SolidWorks or similar

Job responsibilities

• Design, development, and testing of highly-integrated high-speed and reliable circuits and PCBs.
• Create and manage components, symbols, and PCB footprint libraries.
• PCB design rules creation, analysis, and validation
• Preparing engineering documentation for PCB fabrication and assembly: Gerber, drill, BOM, etc.
• Work in a multidisciplinary environment, and collaboration with other departments
