About the role
You own the backlog and acceptance criteria on the GlobalLogic side, translate a work-breakdown baseline into monthly delivery increments, and hold the line on scope. You are one half of the two-person bridge into the client’s business, testing, and quality-gate operations.

On this engagement you will join a senior team delivering a large-scale cloud data-platform program for an enterprise client in the automotive sector — migrating and stabilizing an AWS-based data lakehouse under a fixed delivery timeline.
Job responsibilities
Key responsibilities
• Own the GL-side backlog priorities and author acceptance criteria per monthly increment.
• Run scope and change control against the work-breakdown baseline.
• Align with the client business product owner and business-acceptance-testing team.
• Translate program goals into a detailed, jointly-owned backlog with clear ownership.
• Bridge into business, testing and quality-gate operations alongside the Rollout & Validation Manager.
Must-have skills
• 5+ years as Product Owner on data-platform / data-product or complex software programs.
• Backlog management, acceptance-criteria authoring, scope & change control.
• Strong stakeholder management across business and engineering.
• SQL literacy to validate acceptance criteria against real data.
• Agile delivery experience; Jira / Confluence.
Nice to have
• Invoice / after-sales / financial data domain (payment types, warranty, parts & labour).
• Automotive sector exposure.
• Experience bridging vendor and client delivery teams.
