Our Client is a well-known brand in the construction domain. Subscription & Development Platform IT is the team within Client’s Global IT department that builds and maintains Client’s global cloud platforms and subscription services, enabling secure, reliable, and scalable software delivery for digital products, services, and AI-driven innovation. They follow modern Platform Engineering and DevSecOps principles and live the culture of continuous learning, ownership, and collaboration. As an international, multidisciplinary team, they develop enterprise-scale microservices — including identity management, subscription APIs, and AWS infrastructure automation — that support millions of users across digital ecosystem.

What role you’ll play
As a Technical Project Manager, you lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology initiatives on Client’s subscription and cloud platform. You combine product thinking with technical depth and strong project governance — defining scope, driving delivery, and ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. You develop a strong understanding of system landscapes, product architecture, and technical dependencies to make informed decisions, manage risks, and ensure successful delivery. You collaborate closely with a global, cross-functional agile team of Solution Architects, Software Engineers, Business Analysts, DevOps Engineers, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

Must-haves:
• A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing technical projects or products in enterprise IT environments.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and cloud-native delivery.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and project management tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Ability to understand system architectures, technical dependencies, and integration patterns.
• Excellent communication (English – fluent), presentation, and stakeholder management skills at all organizational levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven mindset.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in global organizations.
• Ownership mindset — you take responsibility for outcomes and drive execution to completion.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS), microservices, and API-based architectures.

Nice-to-haves:
• PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or Scrum Master certification.
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS) and digital transformation programs.
• Knowledge of subscription-based business models, licensing, or billing systems.
• Familiarity with SAP integration in enterprise environments.
• Experience with ServiceNow and IT operations processes.
• Background in software engineering or solution architecture.
• Experience or knowledge across our technology stack:
o Project Management Tools: Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence)
o Cloud: AWS (ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge)
o Languages & Frameworks: Java (Spring Framework), JavaScript (Node.js)
o Integration: REST APIs, event-driven messaging
o ERP: SAP (basics)

Job responsibilities

Product & Project Delivery
• Lead end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives across the subscription and cloud platform.
• Define scope, timelines, budgets, and delivery plans for product increments and projects.
• Drive Agile delivery practices (Scrum/Kanban) and adapt methodology to project needs.
• Accept or reject delivered increments based on the Definition of Done and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate releases, go-live activities, and change management with operational teams.

Technical Leadership & Decision Making
• Develop a strong understanding of system landscapes, product architecture, and technical dependencies.
• Make informed product and project decisions based on technical constraints, risks, and business value.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects on technical trade-offs, integration design, and platform evolution.
• Evaluate and prioritize technical debt, infrastructure improvements, and innovation initiatives.

Stakeholder Management & Governance
• Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, regional teams, and senior leadership.
• Manage project risks, dependencies, issues, and escalations proactively.
• Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, steering committees, and cross-team alignment meetings.
• Track project and product KPIs and provide regular status reporting to leadership.
• Ensure alignment with Client’s strategic business objectives and Enterprise Architecture standards.

Cross-Functional Coordination
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, architecture, QA, operations, and business.
• Remove impediments and ensure teams have clarity on priorities, scope, and business context.
• Manage dependencies across multiple teams, systems, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with SAP, cloud, and third-party teams for integration-heavy initiatives.

Backlog & Roadmap Management
• Own and maintain the product backlog and delivery roadmap.
• Write and refine epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with Business Analysts.
• Make prioritization decisions balancing business value, technical debt, and operational needs.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable delivery plans and measurable OKRs/KPIs.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation
• Monitor product and project KPIs (delivery velocity, quality, SLA, customer satisfaction).
• Use data, feedback, and retrospectives to continuously improve team processes and outcomes.
• Explore new technologies and approaches to improve platform capabilities and delivery efficiency.
• Champion engineering best practices, automation, and operational excellence.
