Description:
Customer is BP (formerly The British Petroleum Company plc) is a British multinational oil and gas company headquartered in London, England. It is one of the oil and gas “supermajors” and one of the world’s largest companies. The company operating in all areas of the oil and gas industry, including exploration and extraction, refining, distribution and marketing, power generation, and trading.
We’re looking for a CEE based IoT Engineer who is willing to relocate to the UK and work on-site in a Sunbury Campus 2-3 days per week. This is a great chance to become a member of the Robotics team (11 engineers as of now) and work on different innovative robotics solutions.

Requirements:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced IoT Engineer with a skillset as per below:
- Hands on at least one of the Cloud Technologies: Azure, AWS and GCP (GCP is a preferable one)
- Experience of LoraWan, Lora and/or Zigbee
- Strong knowledge of the IoT market, End to End IoT project experience
- Proven experience delivering IoT and/or Robotics solutions from incubation through to scale
- Excellent knowledge of application architecture, database architecture, networking and security
- Might be a Raspberry Pi hobbyist
- Ability to create XML Config Files
- Some knowledge of Embedded software
- Good English communication is a must
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other architects and SMEs to develop an IoT and Robotics technical reference model
- Translate IoT and Robotics business outcomes into architecture deliverables
- Lead on vendor technology reviews and make recommendations to the appropriate design authority
- Define solution architectures and ensure compliance throughout project implementation
- Advise on emerging IoT and Robotics trends/technologies
- Perform other duties by Management request.
