Description:
We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Microservice Principal Architect in Pennsylvania, PA to join our team. As a Principal Architect, you will be responsible for leading and driving the architectural direction of our microservices-based applications. You will work closely with engineering teams to design, develop, and implement scalable, reliable, and secure microservices architectures.
You will work for one of our clients(A leading American transportation services company), which operates in the automotive retail, truck leasing, transportation, logistics, and motorsports industries. #LI-AK1
Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in software development and architecture
- 5+ years of experience in microservices architecture
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers
Good To Have:
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices
- Experience with API design and management
- Experience with distributed tracing and monitoring
- Experience with security and compliance best practices
Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design and development of microservices-based applications
- Work with engineering teams to implement best practices for microservices architecture
- Ensure that microservices are designed and implemented to meet the needs of the business
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in microservices architecture
- Mentor and coach other architects and engineers on microservices architecture
- Collaborate with other teams, such as DevOps and Product Management, to ensure that microservices are successfully deployed and managed
