Description:
The client is a world-leading provider of telecommunication solutions to mobile & fixed network operators. GlobalLogic has a long and very successful partnership with this Company started back in 2002. GlobalLogic is building a team that will be responsible for a specific area – maintenance of products that are utilized by major US telecom operators.
Requirements:
1-3 years experience in release and/or project management.
Good knowledge and practical experience with software development processes
Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams toward task completion
Good relationship management
Experience in dependency and risk management
Experience in project planning, reporting
Very proficient in English.

Responsibilities:
As a release manager, you will be responsible for
Detailed Release Planning according to established processes and based on inputs from the Customer, Project manager, Development, and QA teams.
Maintain Project Release Plan to keep it consistent with process changes and ongoing releases.
Track project execution and open working items, and issues.
Prepare status reports and drive regular Release Status Meetings.
Maintain the project documentation library and document approval flows. Control document quality, stakeholders list, etc. (Documents are being prepared by respective roles, and its content is being reviewed by stakeholders)
Lead and coordinate project team activities
Maintain risk and issue registers and quality improvement plans.
Control that the team is following the processes.
Microsoft Project – For creating and managing project schedules
