Description:
The Client is a worldwide apparel and footwear retailer who is located in Las Vegas, USA.
The project is the bespoke CMS and render platform for some special experiences on the e_commerce site.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of AWS or equivalent cloud technology is a plus
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript
- Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
- Good understanding of server-side templating languages (such as JSX, Vash, etc)
- Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors (such as Sass, Less, etc)
- Knowledge of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
- Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it (such as Express, StrongLoop, etc) is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on coding to implement the design of highly scalable solutions
- Opportunity to embark on a large, technically challenging project that will have a large impact on millions of users and will lay the groundwork for many years to come
- Explore emerging technologies and quickly adapt for better results
- Determine the strategic and tactical direction of the platform
- Work in an agile fast-paced development environment
- Collaborate with the engineering team on business and architecture proposals
