Description:
As an Engineer at our client in the Core team of the State Nutrition division, you will work as a member of a cross-functional team to deliver business critical applications of high function and technical quality. You will be responsible for working closely with the product owners and quality assurance to create software that fulfills business needs. You are capable of quickly learning new business domains as well as working in a team environment. You are passionate about delivering high quality, maintainable software to the business.
Requirements:
• 5+ years .Net engineering (Vb.net)
• Strong understanding of relational database systems (MS SQL Server)
• Strong experience leveraging and modifying stored procedures
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Extensive experience with HTML / CSS / JavaScript
• Strong belief in and use of best practices
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent working experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with teams to clarify design and implementation while meeting project needs
• Collaborate with other developers and architects (when appropriate) to determine optimal solution architecture, efficiency, maintainability and scalability
• Complete projects/tasks in a timely fashion while meeting sprint goals and commitments
