Description
The Engineer handles the hands-on operation, maintenance, and technical support for all Complete Level Test Objects (HILs, VILs, Boxcars, Cars). This team member is responsible for ensuring the technical readiness of the rigs, running and improving Test System Tests (TST), and serving as the first line of support for internal customers (testers and developers).

Requirements
Proven experience as a Technical Leader or Team Lead, preferably in an automotive V&V or HIL/VIL rig environment.
Strong technical background in rig building, development, and operation (HIL/VIL/Boxcar).
Excellent communication and organizational skills, acting as a bridge between technical execution and customer requirements (PO features).
Familiarity with Agile processes (VIRA), defining the Definition of Done and Acceptance Criteria.
Experience in measuring and reporting deliverables (e.g., # rig updates, # TST developed/run, quality improvements).
Job responsibilities
Rig Maintenance & Readiness:
Execute daily routines to order and update HIL and other Complete Level Test Objects (VIL, Boxcar, Car) with correct hardware (HW) and software (SW) Baselines.
Perform sanity tests to ensure proper operation of the rigs.
Release new SDF files and keep laboratory computers and equipment up to date and fully functional.
Keep the labs organized and clean.
Testing & Analysis:
Design and development of test cases, specifically Test System Tests (TST) for the complete HIL.
Run and analyze Test System Tests, fault trace issues that occur, follow up, and take care of resulting issues/faults.
Continuously improve and streamline Test System Tests.
Support Activities:
Provide first-line support to CSIV and Complete HIL customers (both testers and developers).
Support stakeholders who will develop and automate TST for new capabilities.
Documentation: Document work in line with company standards (Sphinx, VIRA, HW Specifications, Test descriptions/Test specifications, Git/Gerrit repositories).
