Lead Mobile Test Engineer IRC286193

Description

The project is a big enterprise application with a back office and a mobile client. We’re going to extend its functionality with SmartWatch (WatchOS) and CarPlay applications. You will be part of a cross-functional, cross-geo team of developers, test engineers, ui/ux designers, and architects who will create applications from scratch and integrate them with the back-office API.

Requirements

Experience in mobile application testing
Working knowledge of mobile operating systems – iOS

Experience with Appium or similar mobile-focused testing framework

Experience with manual testing

Experience with mobile emulation testing

Past experience with smartwatches and Auto is highly beneficial

Experience in using configuration management or version control tools

Experience with Usability, Functional and Regression testing

Have a testing mind-set with a passion for quality

Excellent communication and reporting skills

Ability to deliver quality documentation

Excellent organizational skills to focus on the tasks at hand

A good understanding of agile software development

Ability to manage 2-3 test engineers

Job responsibilities

Testing mobile devices to ensure their configuration, operation, and capabilities work efficiently
Producing clear and concise test reports and releasing notes to co-workers when needed
Providing feedback to development teams on technical, troubleshooting, or operational issues
Assisting with the configuration of test environments
Suggesting new processes and policies to improve mobile development techniques.
Check consistency across devices, browsers, and operating systems
Log and document bugs in the tracking system
Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code
