Description

• Lead QA Automation Engineer responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise-grade applications.
• Own and drive QA strategy, processes, and best practices to enable consistent delivery of high-quality releases.
• Define and implement a hybrid testing approach, combining thorough manual validation with scalable automated testing frameworks.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using tools such as Selenium, integrated within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional, distributed, and external teams to align on quality standards and release goals.
• Navigate ambiguous requirements, providing structure and clarity to ensure effective test coverage and risk mitigation.
• Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing for complex enterprise software platforms.
• Leverage Linux environments and scripting (Python, Bash) to support test automation, environment setup, and troubleshooting.
• Analyze defects, identify root causes, and drive continuous improvement in testing practices and product quality.
• Promote a quality-first mindset across the engineering organization through mentorship and process improvements

Requirements

QA Automation Lead Engineer with strong ownership of quality strategy, responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of an enterprise security validation application. Combines a hybrid testing approach, leveraging both meticulous manual testing and robust automated test development to validate complex software platforms. Extensive experience in test automation using Python, Selenium, and Jenkins, with a proven ability to design, implement, and scale automation frameworks while integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Demonstrated leadership in guiding QA teams, defining test strategies, and promoting best practices to drive continuous quality improvement. Experienced in working within agile environments, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and backlog management while providing clear reporting, metrics, and insights to stakeholders. Strong background in testing enterprise-level applications, including functional, integration, and regression testing, with a focus on delivering high-quality, stable releases.

Job responsibilities

• Define and lead the overall QA strategy, aligning testing efforts with business and product goals.
• Design, develop, and execute both manual and automated test cases to ensure comprehensive functional and regression coverage.
• Drive test automation using Python, Selenium, and Jenkins, increasing coverage across critical workflows.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and continuously improve automation frameworks and infrastructure.
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring clear communication and resolution with development teams.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and cross-functional teams to refine requirements and ensure high-quality user experiences.
• Act as the primary QA point of contact, communicating risks, progress, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Mentor QA engineers and promote best practices to foster continuous improvement and quality excellence..
