Bosch eBike | Digital Business is on a daring mission to build the first connected biking platform with an entirely new breed of products and services designed to drive the future of biking. The eBike Flow App is an important companion app for eBikes „powered by Bosch“, providing features like customized riding, theft protection, advanced navigation, and activity tracking for a fast-growing base of several million registered riders
The „Navigation & Activity Tracking“ team is end-to-end responsible for these app modules, including the development, operation, and scaling of the related backends.
Requirements
• You have extensive know-how and experience (5+ years) as an Android Developer
• You have a deep and intimate understanding of developing native Android apps with modern tools and frameworks
• You have expertise in writing code in Kotlin and Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)
• You have solid Android SDK/framework fundamentals and clean architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture) for structured, testable, modular codebases
• You are proficient with Jetpack libraries (Compose, Room), Material Design, and Coroutines for async/reactive programming
• You have experience with Dependency Injection using Koin, as well as REST APIs, networking via Retrofit, and JSON handling
• You obtain a strong focus on clean architecture, testability, maintainability, and writing Unit Tests
• Experience with Monorepo setups is a plus
• Solid understanding of working in an agile environment
• You feature a good sense for crafting a high-quality connected user experience, UI polishing, and performance
• You offer excellent communication skills and an ability to map complex business logic within the app

• Build new features and improve the existing codebase
• Collaborate with the whole team and get involved in planning new features, improving existing features, and architectural decisions
• Spend time on getting things done correctly, not quick and dirty
