About the role
You are the guardrail on data correctness. You build the checks and reconciliation tooling that catch defects before they reach consumers, keep the quality gates consistent, and make sure fixed bugs stay fixed. Senior profile also builds the AI-assisted reconciliation accelerator.

On this engagement you will join a senior team delivering a large-scale cloud data-platform program for an enterprise client in the automotive sector — migrating and stabilizing an AWS-based data lakehouse under a fixed delivery timeline.
Job responsibilities
Key responsibilities
• Build data-quality checks and keep the quality gates consistent (no data passing one gate and failing the next).
• Build and run reconciliation between legacy and target systems — large-scale data diffing.
• Develop the AI-assisted reconciliation tooling.
• Create automated regression coverage so fixed defects do not return.
• Produce anonymized / synthetic test data the program can rely on.
• Verify each monthly release increment against acceptance criteria.
Must-have skills
• Senior: 4+ yrs in data quality / test / analytics engineering.
• Strong SQL; PySpark for large-scale data comparison.
• Test automation with pytest.
• Data-quality frameworks and validation methodology.
• Senior: LLM / AI-assisted tooling for data diffing and acceleration.
Nice to have
• Great Expectations or similar DQ tooling.
• Reconciliation methodology across heterogeneous systems.
• BI / analytics exposure (Athena, Power BI, Qlik).
